Your email and this site

Betch Library is run by me, Martin Betch (Betch Studio). I keep this short and plain: here is what I collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What I collect

• Your email address, when you ask for an asset.
• Which assets you asked for, and when.
• When you agreed to the emails (the tick box), and when you first clicked the link in my email, which confirms the address is yours.
• Whether you open my emails: they contain a tiny image that tells my mailing tool they were opened.

No account, no password, no payment details. The site uses only the cookies it needs to work (a session cookie and a security token against forged forms). No ads, no analytics, no tracking across sites.

Why

To send you the download link you asked for, and, because you ticked the box, occasional emails about new free assets. Nothing else. I never sell or share your email.

Where it is kept

The site and my mailing tool (Mautic, which I run myself) are hosted by Infomaniak in Switzerland. The emails are sent through Infomaniak's mail servers.

How long

Until you unsubscribe or ask me to delete it. Download links stop working after 7 days.

Your rights

Every email has an unsubscribe link: one click and I stop writing to you. You can also ask me to show you, correct or delete what I have about you. Write to community@betch.ch and I will do it. If you think I handle your data wrongly, you can also complain to the data protection authority of your country.

If this changes, I update this page and the date above.
